Anyone's husband in the DR Congo? Empty Anyone's husband in the DR Congo?

My husband flew out today to start his contract on a mine in the south of the DRC. Does anyone else have a husband there? What is it like to work there? He will be staying on the mine property and everything is provided for him, but we're still nervous.
i haven't heard from him since 9 this morning, I only know that his flight landed safely and that they were transporting him to where he has to be.
Now I'm sitting with big eyes nervously waiting for a skype call or text from him. Will it get better?
Or will I want to cry everyday? xxx
