Restaurant in Nairobi
Can anyone recommend a restaurant in Nairobi please? This may be a duplicate post so I wont go on, but I was previously recommended "Carnivore", but Trip Advisor is saying its gone downhill and is trading on its glory days - shame cos we really fancied that one. Anything but fish please. Thanks all

Restaurants in Nairobi
There are Hundreds of great restaurants in Nairobi! We are spoiled for choice! Here's a list of my favourites. Depends on convenience a bit, ie. where you are staying.
1. Mediteraneo - Italian - Westlands and Junction shopping centre.
2. Misono - Japanese - Kilimani area near Yaya Centre. Also Osteria is a good Italian near there.
3. Open House - Indian curry. Westlands and Karen
4. Talisman, Que pasa, - both good atmosphere - both in Karen. (Veranda restaurant, Langata - garden lunch only)
5. Moonflower - smarter option, inside Palacina apartment complex - Kilimani
6. Zen Garden - Peponi Road, Kabete.
7. Art Cafe - South African style funky bar/restaurant located in the Westgate centre, Westlands
8. Le Rustique - great outdoor/garden lunch venue, Westlands. Crepes, salads etc.
9. Village Market shopping centre, food court - Gigiri - near UN.
10. Tamambo - Inside the Mall shopping centre, Westlands. Not a great location, nice food though!

For local foods
For local food, try Kosewe, next to nation centre.
I know you dont like fish but try the fish here. I guarantee you will love it.
Also there are some white faces in here so you wont feel too isolated.
