UHURU HIGHWAY .....Death highway!!

What are your views on the killings , muggings, rapes and mayheim taking place on this spot.

I don't know about Uhuru Highway but the infamous Waiyaki Way dual carriageway that leads into to town from Naivasha is lethal and very fast. The problem is that the last few kilometres into town are down hill all the way, and the big old lorries often lose their brakes at this point - just where city traffic is picking up and smaller cars and matatus busy driving crazily and changing lanes.

This week local radio djs were moaning about how dangerous it is. Somebody needs to put speed bumps there. Accidents happen all the time and a couple of weeks ago 5 were killed in a matatu that collided with a Kenya Power and Lighting lorry. These sort of incidents are not uncommon.

I don't know about rapes and muggings taking place here? It's normally pretty open and well policed during the day. Do let me know if you know more?
